Every year it is easy to dismiss New Year’s resolutions beginning even from the first week. But it is important that we do our best in making sure we actively stay in shape, as this sets us up for a healthy year.
Going for a run in the morning is a great way to start the day, or taking some time out to do some exercises both work towards your goal of staying in shape.
By planning a fitness schedule that is unique to you, it will help motivate you towards your fitness goal. Set achievable goals: work out your own capabilities when setting your goals. Don’t set an hour jog as a target if you haven’t gone for a run in a few months. Start out slow, such as running for 20 minutes each day and then increasing the amount of time.
Incentives: Of course it’s easy to write something down on paper, but actually going through with the resolution is the goal. If you work in different incentives into the schedule, you’ll be able to stay motivated. For example, if you spend 20 minutes going for a run, you can reward yourself by eating 2 squares of dark chocolate.
